Sometimes Things Aren't What They Seem

Earlier this year, on a trip with Steve, I commented on the "rude" road signs I kept seeing along the highways of Georgia. I guess I was feeling a little vulnerable and it truely slanted my view. I just thought that the picture was showing a saggy- chested person in a seat belt reminder! Steve about split as he showed me I was actually looking at the shape of the STATE of GEORGIA! Whew! I had to call my friend, Ruth (who lives in Georgia) immediately...and share the laugh. Sometimes things just aren't what they seem and sometimes people aren't trying to be rude, but our own perceptions can get in the way. If we can keep a good sense of humor wrapped around us, it'll make our traveling life's highways a much smoother trip. So find something to laugh about....even if it's you.
